Scientific committee
Ségolène M. R. Guérin
Ségolène Guérin is an Associate Professor of Psychology at the Université du Littoral Côte d’Opale (URePSSS). Her research focuses on the neurocognitive mechanisms underlying the temporal control of motor behaviour and the dynamics of cerebral oxygenation during physical exertion. Grounded in cognitive neuroscience, her work bridges cognitive psychology and movement sciences, with particular expertise in fNIRS and frequency-tagging EEG methodologies.
Patrick Mucci
Patrick Mucci is Professor in Exercise Physiology at the University of Lille (URePSSS). His research focuses on the limitations of respiratory system during exercise. He is interested in the mechanisms that limit oxygen supply and utilization during exercise in healthy populations (children, adults and seniors) and those with chronic diseases. In this research topic, he studied tissue oxygenation (muscles and prefrontal cortex) during exercise using near-infrared spectroscopy.
Nounagnon F. Agbangla
Nounagnon Agbangla is an Associate Professor in Movement Science at the University of Artois (URePSSS). His research focuses on the field of aging, with a particular interest in identifying the factors that contribute to healthy aging. A major component of his investigations concerns the influence of physical exercise on executive functions in older adults, as well as the exploration of the neurophysiological mechanisms underlying these effects through the use of fNIRS.
